Την Παρασκευή 28 Ιουνίου 2019, στις 16:00, στο Αμφιθέατρο του Τμήματος Πληροφορικής και Τηλεπικοινωνιών του Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών θα πραγματοποιηθεί διάλεξη του κ Νίκου Κοντορίνη από τη Google.
Το θέμα της διάλεξης είναι: "Google Tech Talk: Machine Learning at Google".
Abstract: In this talk we will discuss about Machine Learning at Google - what is it, how we are staying at the forefront of ML research, and where we are applying ML to our products at Google. We will also briefly cover what it is like to work at Google and the process of applying for jobs and preparing for interviews.
Speaker Bio: Nikolaos Kontorinis is a Software Engineer at Google, based in the Mountain View, CA office. His current work focuses on benchmarking Google Search queries and help optimize their latency and cost performance. In the past, he has worked on Google Billing and Payments infrastructure and in the Finance industry. Mr. Kontorinis holds a MSc in EE from UCLA and a Diploma from the ECE Dept of the University of Patras.
