On Friday March 06, 2020, an open day of research project demonstrations was held at the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications. The demos were open to both the Department members and to outside visitors from schools, and took place in the foyer of the Amphitheater, in the laboratory PC Lab # 2 / Υ13-Υ14 and in the Museum of Informatics & Telecommunications under construction.
The project presentations took place in the context of the university-wide Open Days, which aims at offering senior year high school students a first-hand experience of the University in order to help them decide what and where to study. Our Department welcomed approximately 200 students and their teachers, who were guided around our premises in groups and attended a presentation about the Department in the main Amphitheater.
