Institute of Electronics and Electrical Engineers (IEEE) Fellowships to DIT faculty

The following faculty members of the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications of the NKUA have been awarded IEEE Fellowship:

1. Prof. D. Gizopoulos: “for contributions to microprocessor architectures self-testing and on-line error detection”, 2013.
2. Prof. Y. Ioannidis: “for contributions to database systems including query optimization and data management”, 2010.
3. Prof. S. Theodoridis: “for contributions to the design of adaptive signal processing systems”, 2008.
4. Prof. I. Stavrakakis: “for contributions to network traffic analysis and resource allocation methodologies”, 2007.

Only 0.1% of IEEE members are elevated to the rank of Fellow every year.
