Department of Informatics and Telecommunications

The Department of Informatics and Telecommunications of the University of Athens offers a modern and rigorous course of study, professors who are leaders in several scientific fields, good building and technology infrastructure, a modern reading hall/library, a well-organized curriculum and class schedule, as well as strong Master's and Ph.D. programs.

According to the annual evaluations (2009-2011) of the Academic Ranking of World Universities (http://www.shanghairanking.com/), the department of Informatics and Telecommunications of NKUA is the only Greek university department, in any knowledge area, ranked in the top 100 departments worldwide in Computer Science (2009 - 2011).
