Computer, Telecommunications and Network Engineering

The Department of Informatics and Telecommunications of the University of Athens operates a Postgraduate Program, awarding a Master of Science (MSc), titled "Computer, Telecommunications and Network Engineering".

The MSc in Computer, Telecommunications and Network Engineering:

  • specializes in three disciplines of Computer, Telecommunications and Network Engineering, so that holders of the MSc may have increased professional qualifications in their respective specialties,
  • aims at the training and development of scientists and researchers capable of contributing to the promotion of research, technology and higher education in the field of Computer Engineering, Telecommunications and Networking,
  • aims at furthering knowledge, developing research, and meeting the country's educational, research, social, cultural and development needs.

The MSc in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications and Networking is awarded with the following specializations:

  • Computer Engineering,
  • Telecommunications and Signal Processing,
  • Computer Networking

 

Study requirements

To obtain the MSc a total of ninety (90) ECTSs are required. During their studies, postgraduate students are required to attend and successfully complete postgraduate courses as well as to undertake and successfully complete a master's thesis.

The courses are conducted in Greek.

The duration of studies is set at three (3) academic semesters.

 

Tuition fees

Tuition fees are €800 per academic semester (total €2,400).

30% of students are exempt from tuition fees. In addition, two (2) third- and fourth-year tuition waiver grants are awarded to two students who have the two best grades in the 1st and 2nd semesters respectively. Additional scholarships (in the form of exemption from tuition fees) are awarded to up to 50% of students who are expected to pay tuition fees.
